Originally hand cut from an old ten cent coin these earrings are cast in sterling silver and then have golden eyes added before polishing.

My use of this coin seeks to reclaim iconography and remove it from the setting of currency.

This ten cent coin design first circulated in 1967, engraved by English born Reginald George James Berry.
